PURPOSE:To conduct heat conducted from a fuel cell main body to a porous body to reaction gas by using the porous body as a heat exchanger by installing a porous body which rectifies a reaction gas. CONSTITUTION:A porous body is used as a rectifier 20. Since the porous body has a large surface area, its contact area with gas becomes large. Reaction gas can effectively be heated by using heat conducted from a fuel cell main body to the rectifier 20. An electrical heater 21 is installed in the rectifier 20 and the fuel cell main body 1 is uniformly heated in a short time at starting by using the electrical heater 21. Since the electrical heater 21 and the rectifier 20 are accommodated in manifolded main bodies 15a and 15c, heat loss for temperature increasing is remarkably decreased. |
