PURPOSE:To recover misoperation efficiently and take a necessary copy by generating an alarm tone and giving a warning unless a slip sheet detecting signal is outputted after a prescribed number of copies are taken. CONSTITUTION:If there are three originals to be handled although the number ''2'' of originals is inputted, the signal of a slip sheet sensor 51 is not outputted at prescribed timing when a slip sheet is detected after a prescribed number of copies are completed. In this state, the alarm tone is generated while an original is stopped on the original stop gate 60 on contact glass 54. Then a blank feed key or continuance key is operated. When the blank feed key is operated, the gate 60 is released to rotate an ADF motor 49 and discharge the original and a paper feed clutch 43 is then turned on to feed paper repeatedly; when the continuation key is operated, copying operation is repeated in the same mode. |
