PURPOSE:To obtain a mirror which is easily manufacturable at a low cost and is easy to handle by providing a thin metallic film on one surface of a sheet material having no moisture permeability and adhering a transparent member to the thin metallic film. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a sheet material 2 consisting of paper having no moisture permeability is subjected to coating to have the improved smoothness on the surface. The coating is accomplished by feeding the long-sized material 2 into a roll coater C having the lower roller dipped in a paint 3a of an acryl type. After the coating layer 3 is dried, a thin film 4 of aluminum is stuck thereon. A two-component type adhesive agent consisting of urethane is then coated on the surface of the film 4 and a thin sheet-like transparent member 6 consisting of an acrylonitrile/styrene copolymer is adhered to the surface thereof. The long-sized sheet material worked in the above-mentioned way is cut to a desired shape and size. The mirror which is easily manufacturable at a low cost and is easy to handle is thus obtd. |
