PURPOSE:To obtain a nearly black copy with high sensitivity by providing a coating layer consisting essentially of a transparent charge tansferable material around the nucleus consisting essentially of a photoconductive material and providing a surface coating layer consisting essentially of a prescribed photoconductive material thereon. CONSTITUTION:A coating layer 2 consisting essentially of a transparent charge transferable material is provided around a nucleus 1 consisting essentially of the 1st photoconductive material of p or n type. A surface coating layer 3 consisting essentially of the 2nd conductive material of the conduction type (n type or p type) reverse from the conduction type of the 1st photoconductive material having the complementary color relation with the 1st photoconducltive material is provided on said layer. Non-metallic phthalocyanine, metallic phthalocyanine or the halogen deriv. thereof and other materials are used for the 2nd photoconductive material. An ordinary transparent org. photoconductor is used for the layer 2. The nearly black copy with high sensitivity is obtd. by such toner. |
