PURPOSE:To prevent troubles by radiation in the captioned transfer equipment for a cobalt radiation device without lowering radiation efficiency by constituting a system in such a manner that, in a concentrated transfer section, the device is transferred by means of an accumulated conveyor at a predetermined low speed under a minimum pitch that has been set in advance. CONSTITUTION:In a concentrated transferring section N, a carrier 7 is released from a driving chain 8, separated from a rail 6, and delivered to both a rail 1 and an accumulated conveyor 15. The accumulated conveyor 15 sets the pitch of either the carrier 7 or a hanger 3 to as a small pitch l as possible and transfers a device at a low speed or the speed that is l/L times as fast as the transfer speed at an ordinary transfer section M, where L is the pitch in the ordinary transfer section M and l is the minimum pitch in the section N. With this constitution, troubles in the transfer equipment due to cobalt radiation can be prevented without lowering cobalt radiation efficiency. |
