PURPOSE:To lessen manpower and to reduce the cost for repair by using various robots to perform the process for repairing a ladle. CONSTITUTION:A ladle 1 to be repaired is carried into a repair place 3 by a trailer 2. A robot 4 for measurement is moved over the ladle 1 and the shape of the ladle 1 is measured. The result of the measurement is compared with the information on the preliminarily stored standard shape and the damaged point is discriminated. A wire brushing robot 5, a gouging robot 6 and a welding robot 7 are then successively moved over the ladle 1 so that the damaged point is subjected to wire brushing, gouging and repair by welding. An inspection robot 8 is finally moved over the ladle 1 and the repair condition of the point repaired by welding is measured. Whether the repair is completed or not is discriminated from the result of the measurement. |
