发明名称 ELECTROLYTIC TREATING DEVICE FOR STEEL STRIP
摘要 PURPOSE:To provide electrodes and a steel strip in more proximity to each other and to improve an electrolytic treating efficiency with an electrolytic treating device of an indirect electricity conduction system provided with electrode plates having reversed polarities to face each other above and below the steel strip by providing ejection nozzles to said electrode plates thereby discharging quickly the foam on the steel strip and the electrode surfaces. CONSTITUTION:A steel stip 10 is continuously passed through the inside of an electrolyte by feed rolls 121, 122 of an electrolytic cell 11 in which the electrolyte is filled. Electrode plates 131, 131' and 132, 132' having different polarities are provided to face each other in proximity to the front and rear surfaces of the strip 10 in the cell 11. Two nozzles 16, 16' are provided respectively to these electrode plates in the thickness direction. The nozzles have reverse inclinations so as to expand from the strip 10 side toward the opposite sides. Headers 17 to enclose the apertures thereof are provided on the outside of the nozzles and the electrolyte is ejected through the nozzles 16, 16' by pumps 19 via pipings 18 to the surface of the strip 10. The electrolyte flow in the direction 20 arises between the electrodes 13 and the strip 10 and the foam of the gaseous H2 and O2 generated by the electrolysis on the surface of the strip 10 does not stagnate. On the other hand, the distance between the electrodes and the steel strip is reduced.
