PURPOSE:To smooth collection of seal oil, by a method wherein the oil reservoir, on the inner side of a turbine, of a seal device for sealing a turbine shaft is connected to a collecting container outside a turbine through a piping, and the gaseous phase part of the container is connected through a pressure uniformizing line with a low pressure part which is held at a pressure lower than a pressure inside a seal part. CONSTITUTION:In a device which airtightly holds the opposite ends of a turbine shaft 33 of a low boiling point medium turbine 30 by means of seal devices 35 located at both sides of a turbine casing 31, and drains seal oil, stowed in an oil reservoir 50, located inside the turbine, of the seal device 35, at the outside of the turbine, the oil reservoir 50 is connected to a collecting container 57 through a drain the line 58 is branched from the line 55 down the line from the down stream side of a check valve 56, and the line 58 is connected to the gaseous phase part of the oil reservoir 50. A gas seal line 60 is connected between the collecting container 57 of the pressure uniforming line 58 and a check valve 59 of the pressure uniforming line, and after medium gas from a tank 64 is decreased in a pressure by means of a pressure reducing valve 63, the gas is properly guided to regulate a pressure in the collecting container 57 and the like. |
