PURPOSE:To raise the temperature of exhaust gas as well as to make combustion for an unburned gas ever so facile, by installing an air-charging valve, being installed in an air-charging pipe of a Diesel engine and having a vent hole, and an air-charging on-off device which opens or closes this air-charging valve in a way of two stages for its full open and full close. CONSTITUTION:Air for combustion is fed to the inside of a combustion chamber 2 through an air-charging pipe 3, while exhaust gas after combustion is fed to a gas turbine 5 through an exhaust gas pipe 4. Then, a turbine wheel 6 and an air wheel 6a are rotated, feeding the air to the combustion chamber 2 through the air-charging pipe 3, and an air-charging valve 9 is attached to the air-charging pipe 3, then plural pieces of vent holes 11 are installed in its valve body 10. And, each area of these vent holes 11 is set up in advance so as to cause an air quantity to be fed to the combustion chamber 2 after passing through each vent hole 11 to be less than three times but at least more than two times over a theoretical air quantity when the valve body 10 is situated in a full-close position. With this constitution, in time of low output operation, the valve body 10 is fully closed and excessive fuel air is limited to some extent, thus the desired end comes to fruition. |
