PURPOSE:To remove inferior can cylinder blank and supply only good can cylinder blank to a can manufacturing machine by providing selecting rods above and below a drop locus of a can cylinder blank in such a manner as to freely incline. CONSTITUTION:When a blank material B contacts a sensor switch 23, the sensor switch is actuated to start a driving device 10 for a selecting rod 6 at n-position. Therefore, a selecting rod 6 at nx-position is once inclined and is on standby below a drop locus of inferior can cylinder blank C before inferior can cylinder blank C of l-n is cut by the second slitter E to be discharged to a storing room 1 No.n. Subsequently, when the inferior can cylinder blank C is discharged from the second slitter E and placed on the waiting selecting rod 6, the selecting rod 6 is rapidly inclined upward to jump up the inferior can cylinder blank C. The jumped inferior can cylinder blank C is adsorbed by a permanent magnet 15 of a moving surface 12 of an inferior can cylinder blank removing device 16 to be moved to the side and dropped to be removed at the end of the moving surface 12. |
