PURPOSE:To assure desired flow-path cross-section area at anytime, by forming a groove in an end face at the injection hole side of a collar provided between the innercircumferential face of needle insertion hole of nozzle body and the outercircumferential face of a needle inserted into said hole. CONSTITUTION:A collar 11 is arranged between the innercircumferential face of needle insertion hole 2 of nozzle body 1 and the outercircumferential face at the end of needle 3 inserted into said hole 2 where a stopper step section 13 is formed while facing with the end face 11a at the injection hole 12 side of collar 11. Furthermore, a spiral groove 10 is made in the outercircumferential section of collar 11 and a groove 15 is formed in the end face 11a at the injection hole 12 side of collar 11 continuously with the spiral groove 10. Consequently, even under such state as the end face 11a of collar 11 is colling against the stopper step section 13, the flow-path cross-section area is not reduced at the end face 11a section because of said groove 15. As a result, desired flow-path cross-section area can be assured at anytime resulting in smooth fuel flow. |
