PURPOSE:To simplify mechanism, prevent deviated load applied to a die and perform forging free from under-fill by providing a ring die on outer periphery of a lower die against a rotating and oscillating upper die, and rotating the ring die. CONSTITUTION:The upper die is rotated and oscillated at a specified speed. A rotatable rotary ring die 2 is provided on the outer periphery of a lower die 11 and lifted by a ram device. Uneven parts 12a, 12b are formed on the inner peripheral face of a rotary ring die 12, and when a work 10 is forged, the material flows in the uneven parts 12a, 12b. By rotation of the rotary ring die 12 the material is filled in the lower part, and a forged product free from the state of under-fill at corners 13a, 13b of a bottom die 13 is obtained. The life of the die can be lengthened by this mechanism.
