PURPOSE:To inform an appropriate replacement time of a battery by constituting a titled device so that it is displayed that a battery voltage has dropped below a prescribed value, or an image forming operation of that time point is ended. CONSTITUTION:In a period in which a main switch 3 is on, a voltage of a battery 2 is always monitored by a comparator 12, and when the battery voltage is enough, a voltage V1 applied to the + side of the comparator 12 is higher than a voltage V2 applied to the - side, therefore, an output of the comparator 12 is in a high level. When the voltage of the battery 2 drops to a prescribed level, a relation of V1<V2 is obtained since the voltage V2 is held at a pre scribed value by a Zener diode 11, and the output of the comparator 12 is varied to a low level. When a drop of the battery voltage has been detected, a register display device 13 is flickered, and a display of the voltage drop is continued until the main switch 3 becomes off, or the voltage becomes zero. |
