<p>An improvement in a coaxial feeder serving also as a support post for biconical antennas. The upper and lower conical antenna elements consist of metal plates, and a coaxial feeder line serving also as a support post, a tubular outer conductor (6) and a rod type central conductor (7). The upper end of the outer conductor (6) is fixed to the inner surface of a base portion of the lower conical antenna element (2). A stopper ring (12) consisting of a connector pin (9), an insulating collar (10) and a metal ring (11) provided therearound is fixed to the lower end of the central conductor (7). This central conductor (7) is inserted through the hollow interior of the outer conductor (6), and the stopper ring (12) fixed to the lower end thereof is engaged with the lower end of the outer conductor (6). The upper end of the outer conductor in this state is screwed to a base portion of the upper conical antenna element (1). Therefore, the central conductor (7) is drawn from the upper and lower sides. Accordingly, the central conductor (7) is held coaxially in the hollow interior of the outer conductor (6), and the mechanical strength of a coaxial line portion as a support post increases.</p> |
