PURPOSE:To prepare a seal file less in unnecessary information by specifying an arbitrary partial area while watching a picture of the registered seal original slip which is read out by an image pickup device and displayed. CONSTITUTION:An image pickup device 5 reads out a picture including a registered seal print from a registered seal original slip set on a reading stand A, and displays it on a CRT3 through a seal print data memory circuit 9. A frame data generating circuit 13 generates frame data, and displays two vertical lines and two horizontal lines on a screen of the CRT3. The area enclosed by these four lines is a partial area for extracting a registered seal print data, and the other becomes the area to be masked. Since coordinate values in the frame line can be changed by instructions through a keyboard 4, registering instructions are given through the keyboard 4 after a registered seal print is enclosed by a frame line. Then a control circuit 6 transmits the registered seal print data which is masked in a masking circuit 14 to a seal file memory device 2 through an interface circuit 15. When receiving this data, the memory device 2 files only the registered seal print data. |
