<p>An electrical connecting device for installing electrical elements such as switches, plug sockets, fuses and the like so that they are recessed in a wall or the like has as the main part a holder which can be mounted on an installation socket which is arranged in a recessed manner in the wall or the like. A connector insert, to which electrical supply leads can be connected, can be fitted to the inside of the holder. The electrical elements which can be inserted into the holder from the outside have plug-in contacts which can be inserted into openings, provided for this purpose, in the connector insert. The electrical elements can in consequence be replaced without access to live parts. An inner region of the holder, through which an opening passes for holding electrical elements of specific dimensions, can be separated from an outer region along a predetermined fracture line so that a larger opening is produced for holding electrical elements having larger dimensions, for example an earth-contact plug socket.</p> |
