Apparatus and method for distributing powdered material uniformly in a generally vertical plane through an arc of about 180 DEG , having particular utility for rock dusting underground coal mine tunnels. A pair of rotatable impeller means discharge entrained powdered material through a pair of housings each having oppositely disposed arcuate openings subtending an arc of about 120 DEG . Generally vertical panels on each side of the impellers guide the discharged material. |
