发明名称 PRODUCTION OF ELECTRICAL CONTACT POINT MATERIAL
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain an electrical contact point material which has improved resistance to melt-sticking in addition to excellent resistance to comsumption by making combination use of silver oxide and Li nitrate powder in the stage of obtaining a contact point material formed by dispersing metallic oxide into silver with silver alloy powder dispersed with the simple substances of solute elements to be oxidized. CONSTITUTION:A solute element such as tin, Cd, copper, In or the like is dispersed in a silver matrix and this alloy powder and the powder composed of silver oxide and Li nitrate are thoroughly mixed. The mixture thereof is compression molded. The density of the molded mass is increased and a satisfactory result is obtd. if the powders are compounded in the equiv. relation at which the solute elements are thoroughly oxidized by the oxygen generated by decomposition of silver oxide and if the mixture thereof is molded at a high temp. after ordinary-temp. molding. When the molded mass is sintered, the silver oxide is decomposed to generate silver and nascent oxygen. The latter oxidizes the solute elements so that the oxide of the silver and the solute elements deposits in the mass. The Li nitrate forms simultaneously Li oxide which is densely formed between the silver constituting the alloy, the silver formed of silver oxide and the oxide of the solute elements by which the intended contact point material is obtd.
