PURPOSE:To prevent a shrinkage hole to be produced on the surface of a side molding body from occurring as well as to simplify a metal mold in structure, by molding a clip setting part solidly together with the side molding body, while tightly attaching the setting part to the backside of the body via a hinge part after being bent. CONSTITUTION:A side molding body 11 and a clip setting part 12 are solidly extruded via a thin hinge part 14. And, the setting part 12 is bent from the hinge part 14 onto the backside of the body 11, and the sticking part 12a is welded to a side edge part of the body 11, thus a side molding is made up. The completed side molding is attached to an automobile, after a clip part 21 is inserted into the aclip setting part 12 while a head part of the said clip 21 is inset in a hole of a setup plate 22 of the automobile. |
