Seat-like delivery couch

A delivery couch has a liftable lower part, and a seating surface and a backrest which can both be adjusted with regard to their inclination relative to the lower part. Furthermore, there is provided a thigh-supporting part which has a pair of right and left thigh-supporting sections and which is detachable from the seating surface. A stretcher can be connected with or released from the seating surface in the axial direction of the delivery couch when the thigh-supporting part is removed. In this delivery couch the inclination of the buttocks of the pregnant woman can be adjusted. This facilitates delivery and the pregnant woman can be easily transferred to the stretcher. Obstetric measures can also be carried out without difficulty.
