PURPOSE:To allow desired plates to be extracted quickly one by one by holding and shifting the uppermost plate via a plate holder mounted on a bogie moving above plates of many types stacked by type on the same plane. CONSTITUTION:A bogie 9 travels to the position of a mount bed 7 of plates of the directed type while counting docks 32 provided on the floor, and it is decelerated and stopped by a deceleration direction dock 34. Next, the separation unit 11 of the mount bed 7 is energized, the end plate is separated, the cylinder 25 of a plate holder 8 is extended, a vacuum pad 21 is adsorbed to the separated uppermost plate W, the cylinder 25 is again contracted, and the plate W is lifted. Double pickup is detected by a double pickup detector 26, and if only one plate is adsorbed, the bogie 9 travels agains and returns to the roller conveyor position, the vacuum source 37 of the vacuum pad 21 is stopped, and the plate W is released on the conveyor. Accordingly, even plates of many types and many quantities can be picked up and transferred quickly one by one. |
