In order to facilitate the production of a supply line for dental instruments comprising an enveloping hose, individual lines extending therein and means for preventing knots forming by looping around of individual lines which are initially laid parallel to each other in the enveloping hose, it is proposed that the interior of the enveloping hose be subdivided by thin-walled cell walls into mutually separate channels for the reception of individual lines, and that the cell walls be formed from the material used for the outer skin of the enveloping hose, so that the outer skin and the means for prevention of knot formation, represented by the channels, can be obtained by extrusion in one and the same production process.
