CRANKSHAFT INSERTING SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To insert a crankshaft easily into a bearing without causing deformation by arranging a shaft means having a section to be coupled with one end of crankshaft at the opposite side from mounting side of engine case then pressing. CONSTITUTION:A receiving section 2 for supporting the end face of bearing (b) pressure fixed previously to an engine case (a) is integrally projected from the central portion of base seat 1 for supporting the engine case (a). A rotary shaft 5 provided at the tip with a nut to be screwed with a male screw (d) provided at the end of crankshaft (c) is facing at the lower section of shaft through-hole 3 made in the center. While a unit for inserting a crankshaft provided with a hydraulic cylinder 8 for pressing the shaft 5 downward and an air motor 13 for rotating said shaft 5 is secured below said seat 1. A piston 10 energized upward by means of a spring 9 is fixed slidably to said cylinder 8 thus to press said shaft 5 downward.
