<p>The fitting, which consists of the locking member (1) and the holding piece (2), serves for the releasable connection of two flat furniture components (21 and 22). The holding piece (2) is anchored in a furniture component (21) and bears a holding projection (12). The locking member is held rotatably in the second furniture component (21). The locking member (1) has a slot (7) with a widening (8) which receives the holding projection (12) of the anchored holding member (2) during the intended use. In this case, said holding projection (12) rests in the locking member (1) against a spirally extending clamping runner. In order to prevent the two furniture components (21 and 22) becoming displaced relative to one another when the fitting is tightened, the clamping runner has in its extent a section formed by a straight line. In this case, said section extending in a straight line is located in the rear part of the clamping runner, seen from the outer beginning of said clamping runner. The straight section merges tangentially into the spirally extending section of the clamping runner. Due to this design of the fitting, the flat furniture components which are connected by said fitting are prevented from becoming displaced relative to one another when the fitting is tightened. <IMAGE></p> |
