PURPOSE:To reduce the number of disassembling and assembling steps at the time of inspecting an end ring by determining the inner diameters of the end ring and a fan boss as well as the outer diameter of a collector fan in the prescribed relationship. CONSTITUTION:After a groove 11 is blocked with a leading wedge 14, a ring- shaped mounting seat 9 is engaged with a shaft 1. A step 15 is formed at the central side of the shaft of the outer periphery of the seat 9, and a fan boss 10 is engaged with the seat 9 to position with the step 15. Stationary keys 17 are inserted into a groove 16 formed on the shaft end engaging portion of the boss 10 with the seat 9. The groove 16 is used also as a mounting groove for a balance weight. When the inner diameter of the end ring 4 is D1 and the outer diameter of the fan 7 is D3, the inner diameter D2 of the boss 10 is decided to become D2<D1 and D2>D3 in the inner diameter of the boss 10. |
