PURPOSE:To enable reduction of the weight of a tyre and to maintain stabilization of size during running, by a method wherein the cord of belt layers is formed by a material having elasticity modulus of 10<5>kg/cm<2>, and at least the one of the belt layers forms a fold ply. CONSTITUTION:A tyre 1 has a bead part in which 2 bead cores 2 and 3 are contained, and plural carcasses 4 are disposed around the bead cores. The tyre includes belt layers 5 at the outside of the crown part of the carcass, at least the one of the belt layer 5 forms a fold ply having the folded-back end, and a band B is disposed at the outside of the belt layer 5. The band B has two fold plies F1 and F2 which respectively have only the one end being folded back. The cord of the belt layer 5 is formed by a material having elasticity modulus of 10<5>kg/ cm<2> or more, and, for example, steel, alamid, or the like is used as such material. |
