In a derailleur device, in which the derailleur is borne by a joint polygon and the transmission means coming from the manual switch engage on an actuation element which itself engages in turn via an elastic drag device on one of the movable parts of the joint polygon, it is proposed that the actuation element be mounted on one of the polygon parts outside the polygon joints.
