In a vehicle body, in particular for road or rail vehicles, having side and end walls, a floor and, possibly, a roof skin composed of profiles (2, 3 or 20, 21) or profile parts (26), the profiles (2, 3 or 20, 21) or the profile parts (26) are joined to one another with profiles (27) by means of screw connections (S). For this purpose, the profiles (3, 21, 27) have at the point of junction with other profiles (2, 20) or the profile parts (26) an undercut groove (8) which is accessible through a channel (6), in which groove a clamping piece (10) can be inserted, which piece provides a bore (14) for receiving a screw bolt which penetrates a profile wall (22) or a mounting vane (4, 23) of another profile (2, 20) or the profile part (26) itself. <IMAGE> |
