A window or door assembly comprises a frame assembly including a frame member (32) having a plurality of attachment formations or tracks (57) at the frame member outer perimeter, and has attachment members (65 or 58) engageable with a selected track (57) and adapted to be secured to a wall structure (61 or 62) whereby the frame may be selectively positioned relative to the interior or exterior side of the opening in which it is installed. Desirably the attachment member (65 or 58) is slideable with respect to track (57). In preferred embodiments frame member (32) is an outer jamb and is adapted for clip connection to an inner jamb (55). Preferably frame member (32) includes a shutter guide (38). The assembly may include sliding or double-hung windows, a roller shutter or blind, a fly-screen and a curtain assembly. <IMAGE> |
