Anatomically deformed auricle supports for an eyeglass frame relate to the exact matching of material, as any other type of prosthesis is matched to bodily parts. This results in the achievement of the absolute matching seat of the spectacles, the usual painful pressure points being eliminated, the more so on the cartilaginous rear of the auricle. It therefore becomes imperative, on the other hand, for the spectacle seat also to acquire or maintain the matching seat in the same way on the root of the nose, thus preventing the usual process of sliding down, as a result of which safeguarding the visual faculty and its defects endure, in the first case, and do not even become possible in the second case, so that this type of spectacle prosthesis admits of no other alternatives.
