PURPOSE:To avert hardening of an initial layer of weld metal, low and high temp. cracking, etc. in ordinary welding by limiting the equiv. of Cr and Ni and the content of ferrite in addition to the content of Ni and Cr as a welding material between a carbon steel or low alloy steel and a stainless steel. CONSTITUTION:A welding material which has the chemical component compsn. consisting, by eight, of 26.0-30.0% Cr, 14.0-18.0% Ni, 28.0-33.0% Cr equiv. and 14.0-22.0% Ni equiv. and is adjusted in the components so as to contain 10- 30% delta ferrite. Here the equiv. of Cr and Ni is expressed by the formulas I , II(brackets on the right side is % of each component). The chemical component compsn. except the above-mentioned components is approximately the same as the compsn. of the conventional welding material. |
