PURPOSE:To provide a titled device which presses and clamps the metallic pieces to be butt brazed to the ribbon-shaped brazing material delivered from a brazing material delivery mechanism on the clamping arm of a clamping mechanism and retreats the unused brazing material after brazing by pressing and conduction of electricity. CONSTITUTION:A ribbon-shaped brazing material 66 is disposed in the prescribed position between metallic piece clamping parts 5A, 6A from a brazing material guide 76A when a material feed roller 81 is rotated by the knob 80 of a brazing material delivery mechanism 67. The metallic pieces are inserted into conductor grasping parts 5A, 6A, 3A, 4A so as to contact with the material 66 while said grasping parts are held loosened by the bars 25, 26 dropped into the grooves 62 of the cams 39, 40 of a cam body 35 to be turned by a lever 60. The parts 5A, 6A are strongly pressed when the lever 60 is turned. A lever 37 is then turned to press the grasped metallic pieces to each other and to conduct electricity thereto. The remaining part of the ribbon 66 melted by butt brazing is retreated after a bar 98A is dropped into a groove 99 when a cam 38 is turned by the lever 60. The butt brazing of the metallic pieces is easily accomplished by the above-mentioned operation. |
