PURPOSE:To suppress the black lines of a copy generated by the projections on a photosensitive body to a low level by oscillating axially a cleaning plate along the surface of the photosensitive body by oscillating sources having different frequencies and amplitudes. CONSTITUTION:A pin 22 projecting from a bracket 20 fixed to a cleaning unit housing 21 engages with the cam groove 24 of a cylindrical cam 23. Reference pins 25, 26 which can be slided are oscillated axially by suitable means such as cams so as to oscillated a blade 27. The blade 27 is given with sine curve oscillation A (1-2Hz/sec). The oscillation B which is higher in frequency and smaller in amplitude than the oscillation A is applied to the housing 21. The combined oscillation of both oscillations is thus applied to the blade 27. The number of collision against projections has many peaks and is uniform in the oscillating width. |
