PURPOSE:To prevent a password number from being noticed easily by a person standing nearby by changing at random the layout of function display of respective key switches in a display means every time when the password number of the number of the digit which is decided beforehand is inputted. CONSTITUTION:Numerals which are selected by a random number generator are displayed sequentially at display digits D1 and D12, and respective numerals are stored in a key retrieving table. When numerals and codes are displayed at the whole display digits D1 and D12, the input of the secret number from the keyboard part becomes possible. When the customer operates the voluntary key switch out of key switches K1 and K12 included in the keyboard part, the key code signal is given to the input/ output control part from the key switch. The input/output control part reads the numerical value data from the address of the key retrieving table which corresponds to the key code signal of the key switch K1, and makes the transmission buffer of the input/output control part store the data. |
