PURPOSE:To obtain the titled yarn satisfying mechanical properties and uniformity, by introducing a hot gas with a specific flow rate through feed holes into a hot zone in such a way that the gas flows along the direction of yarn, heating and drawing yarn in it, then pulling it. CONSTITUTION:A thermoplastic polyester polymer is subjected to melt spinning from a spinneret, and the yarn Y is cooled to <= a glass transition temperature by cooling air, etc. Then, a hot gas such as air, etc. with 10-80Nl/min is introduced into the heating column 1 in such a way that the angle theta between the running direction of the yarn and the center line of the feed holes 4 satisfies the equation shown by the formula 20<=theta<=70 deg.. The cooled yarn Y is introduced into the column 1, made to travel in the hot zone, heated and drawn. The yarn is then pulled at >=3,000m/min pulling speed, to give the desired yarn.
