PURPOSE:To make the maintenance of hot water liquid phase easier to enable the deposition of mineral substances by lowering pressures in a production well by using cold water. CONSTITUTION:In geothermal power generation system in which an enclosed Rankine thermal engine cycle through which hot water is directed through a heat exchange system from the production well 1 to a reduction well 2 is formed, cold water is pumped up from a cold water source 32, e.g., river, lake, cold water well, etc., and injected into the liquid phase 11 in the production well 1 to lower the internal temperature of the production well 1 and also to lower the pressure. The evaporation of hot water can thus be suppressed. The variation in the level positions of liquid phase can be lessened by controlling the internal temperature of the production well 1. The change of the liquid phase into gaseous phase by lowering of temperature is suppressed and the variation of the levels of liquid phase is controlled to avoid the blocking of the production well 1 by mineral substances deposited from hot water. |
