PURPOSE:To enable the titled device to set simply an original in a desired position and to prevent the disturbance in the oscillation of the original by providing an air suction device which sucks air through the plural suction ports of an original cover and fixes the original to the rear surface in tight contact therewith. CONSTITUTION:When the operator turns on an original fixing switch 8 in the stage of setting an original, a motor 4 is started and the air in a box 2b is discharged through discharge ports 6 by fans 5 and is sucked through suction ports 3. The operator can fix exactly the original onto a rear surface 2a in tight contact therewith while viewing the original surface in the state of erecting approximately perpendicularly an original cover 2. The suction force acts respectively in the ports 3 even in the stage of copying the plural originals to a sheet of copy so that the plural originals can be exactly disposed in a desired position. The peel off of the original is obviated by the suction force ven if the cover 2 is turned as the cover 2 is put on an original plate 1 after fixing of the original onto the rear surface 2a in tight contact therewith. |
