PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution, to reduce power loss and to attain miniaturization by applying a current energy stored during ON-period of a drive switching element to an output switching element as an ON-current. CONSTITUTION:A transistor (TR) Q10 is turned on with an input switching pulse SP at a high level, a base and an emitter of a power TRQ11 are biased reversely to -V, an output stage is turned off, and since a current I1 flows to the Q10 through an inductance L, the current energy is stored in the L. On the other hand, when the pulse SP goes to a low level, the Q10 is turned off, the stored energy is transferred to the base of the Q11, a base current I2 flows and the Q11 is turned on, and the peak of the current I2 is decreased with time similarly in case of the I1. When the pulse SP goes to a high level and the Q10 is turned on next, the reverse base current I2 flows from the base of the Q11 to a -V power supply through the Q10, the Q11 is turned off and then kept to the OFF-stage by the reverse bias of the Q10. |
