PURPOSE:To enhance the safety and response of flow detector and controller as well as enable remote control startup and stoppage of hot water supply and instantaneous flow values of hot water to be set up by a method in which the supply of mixed hot water is detected by a flow detector, control is made on the startup and stoppage of a mixing valve driver and also on the flow rate of mixed hot water by a control valve by using signals from the flow detector. CONSTITUTION:Mixed hot water is flowed out by opening a control valve 42 by a flow rate setter and hot water supply indicator 48 for mixed hot water to be discharged. The flow rate of mixed hot water is detected by a detector 35 and a control valve 42 is driven through a controller 24 until a place where set flow rate is reached. Set temperature signal by a hot water supply controller 23 is compared with mixed hot water temperature signal detected by the detector 34 by the controller 24, and the mixing valve 36 is driven by the motor 31 to a place where the deviation between both signals is zeroed. The control valve 42 is closed as zero set flow rate, the stoppage, if any, of flow of hot water is detected by the detector 35 and the drive of the motor 31 is stopped through the controller 24. Even when temperature of the temperature detector 34 is lowered by cooling thereafter, the valve 36 is stayed at the previous stop position. The discharge of hot water during the resupply of hot water can thus be temporarily avoided for safety, and response can be improved because of short arrival time to the position where given temperatures can be obtained.
