PURPOSE:To prevent flour leakage from a ventilating part, and to make flow of an ingredient to be coated smooth, by setting a specific baffle means at a position to cover the ventilating part inside a coating pan. CONSTITUTION:The baffle member 12 having a tapered shape from the rear end part 12b to the front end part 12a in the rotary direction R of the coating pan 1 is set in such a way that the member covers the porous part 2 of the coating pan 1. The triangular ventilating opening part 13 is formed at the rear end part 12b of the baffle member 12, communicated with the vent holes 2a of the porous part 2 at the wall face of the coating pan 1, and the flow of the gas 14 is circulated inside and outside of the coating pan 1.
