PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of production by attaching fixing plates to both ends of plural PC wires, setting the assemblage to a knitting machine for reinforcement cages and welding and knitting auxiliary reinforcement cages to the outside thereof while moving the assemblage with a moving carriage. CONSTITUTION:A prescribed number of PC wires 2 and a pair of fixing plates 3, 4 are combined and are stoppered by which a PC vertical reinforcement assemblage 1 is manufactured. The assemblage 1 is placed on a rear carrier 17 and the electrode 12 group of a knitting machine 19 is expanded diametrally to permit passage of the plates 3 and at the same time vertical reinforcements 8 are supplied to the electrodes 12. A carriage 16 is retreated and a clamping mechanism 18 is coupled to the plate 18 and thereafter the carriage 16 is advanced to draw out the assemblage 1. The vertical reinforcements 8 and the spiral reinforcements 9 from a drum 5 are set between welders 13 and the intersected points of the reinforcement 8 group and the reinforcements 9 are welded and fixed by the rotation of the welders 13 according to the movement of the carriage 16. The assembling stage is considerably reduced and the cost is reduced by the above-mentioned method.
