PURPOSE:To obtain a molded coil being hard to receive the influence of heat and water by a method wherein the outer periphery of the skin of the molded coil formed by using Si resin as a matrix resin is covered with at least one side of an epoxy resin copolymer and epoxy resin. CONSTITUTION:A coating layer 5 is provided on the outer periphery of a skin 3 formed by impregnating to be hardened with Si resin as a matrix resin one the bundle 2 of coil strands. When epoxy resin is to be used for the layer 5, adhesion between the skin 3 can be enhanced by interposing a surface treatment such as a silane coupling agent, etc. Or, the double layers of an Si epoxy resin copolymer layer and an epoxy resin layer is also favorable. Moreover when Si resin or rubber 4 of 100kg/mm.<2> or less of the modulus of elasticity is filled up between the coil strands, a crack according to thermal stress can be checked, and the shape holding property and the thermal property can be enhanced. According to this construction, the molded coil of high reliability can be obtained. |
