发明名称 COOLING WATER TEMPERATURE CONTROL SYSTEM FOR SEAWATER DIRECT-COOLED ENGINE
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of corrosion by sulfuric acid and scale sticking over the whole driving range, by controlling cooling water temperature of a cooling water jacket for a seawater direct-cooled engine to the specified temperature in time of high load but to a higher one than this. CONSTITUTION:A seawater pump 28 is connected to a seawater inflow port 17b of a cooling water jacket 17a for a Diesel engine 16. A main seawater outflow port 17c of the jacket 17a is connected to a first cooling water passage 32 fitted with a thermostat T1, while an auxiliary seawater outflow port 17d is connected to a second cooling water passage 34 interposingly installing a selector valve 36. In time of low load, since a cooling water jacket wall surface is relatively low temperature, even if cooling water temperature is more than 50 deg.C, the selector valve 36 is closed whereby temperature control takes place at 70 deg.C with the thermostat T1. In time of high load, the selector valve 36 is opened whereby the temperature control for the cooling temperature takes place at 40 deg.C or so.
