PURPOSE:To realize effective getter flush without reducing the spring effect of bulb spacer by limiting the frequency of high frequency heating to a particular range during getter flush of neck getter. CONSTITUTION:A frequency of high frequency heating is set to the range of 250kHz ro 450kHz during getter flush of neck getter 12 with a high frequency heating. If the frequency is set to 450kHz or higher, the surface of bulb spacer 11 is heated and annealed and thereby open failure rate increases rapidly. If the frequency is set to 250kHz or less, it is not practical because the power used by the high frequency induction heater increases. |
