PURPOSE:To fix easily and precisely the belt of a magnetic head moving device without requiring skillful operation by temporally fitting a loop-like belt and a magnetic head moing board, then fixing them tightly. CONSTITUTION:The loop-like belt 20 is hung between a driving pulley 26 and a tension pulley and respective fixing holes 32, 44 of the pulley 26 and the belt 20 are made to coincide with each other by moving the main shaft of a driving motor and fixed with a screw 22a so that the movement of the pulley 26 can be precisely transmitted to the belt 20 even if tention is applied. Prescribed number of pulses are applied to the driving motor and a long hole 46 of the belt 20 is positioned on the moving bard 14 on which a head or the like arranged close to a track in which a positioning reference signal is written is fitted. Under said status, the moving board 14 is slightly moved until the reference signal is precisely read out, the belt 20 is temporally fitted to the moving board 14 by adhesives or the like and then fixed with a screw 22b. Thus, the belt of the magnetic head moving device can be fixed easily and precisely without skillful operation. |
