PURPOSE:To enhance printability and print fixability by forming a paper base coated with polyolefin films on both sides and coating one of the film with an aq. coating material and drying it. CONSTITUTION:The photographic printing paper support comprises a paper base, coating layers made of a polyolefine resin, such as polyethylene, formed on both sides, in an amt. of 15-50g/m<2>, and an antistatic layer formed on one of these coating layers by coating it with an aq. coating soln. contg. an SBR or MBR latex and a colloidal silica in an amt. of 1-15 times the weight of said latex by solid basis and, preferably, in an amt. of 0.1-1.5g of dry silica per m<2> of the layer, and drying it. |
