PURPOSE:To obtain a permanent magnet suitable for multipolar magnetization by composing the inner peripheral portion of an Mn-Al-C alloy magnet with radial easy-magnetizing direction and the outer peripheral portion of a metallic material. CONSTITUTION:The inner peripheral portion of a permanent magnet consists of an Mn-Al-C alloy magnet having its axes of easy magnetization radially. In other words, the inner peripheral portion is formed of an Mn-Al-C alloy magnet having structure in which the axes of easy magnetization of a face-centered tegragonal crystal, [001] axes are arranged preferentially along the radial direction thereof. Since the [001] axes are preferenally along the radial direction, the magnet has the highest magnetic properties in the axial direction. The magnet has a direction of easy magnetization in a radial direction and provides excellent magnetic properties when applied with multipolar magnet. The outer periphery of the magnet consists of a metallic material whicn may be any one that can be bonded when the magnet is made anisotropic so as to have the directions of easy magnetization radially. |
