PURPOSE:To prevent malfunction and improve operativity by inhibiting a paper feed part or storage part from being switched during image forming operation. CONSTITUTION:When a tray selection key PBT is pressed, a voltage is applied to a coil S of a latching relay K2 and a contact K2-1 is connected to a side (a). Then, a current flows through a solenoid SL1 and an electromagnetic plunger 63 draws a lever 64 to move a conveyor belt 19 to the paper ejecting port at the side of a tray 14 as shown by a dotted line. When a sorter selection key PBS is pressed, a voltage is applied to a coil R of the relay K2 to connect the contacts K2-1 to a side (b), and the solenoid SL1 is released to move the conveyor belt 19 to the paper ejecting exit at the side of a sorter 18 as shown by a solid line. When a copy signal CPY rises to ''1'', a relay K1 turns on to break a contact K1-1 and the relay K2 does not open even when the PBS and PBT are pressed, inhibiting switching operation. |
