PURPOSE:To obtain a toner binder having stable positive triboelectrifiability and aptitude for a color toner except black by incorporating a sulfanilamide deriv. represented by a specified general formula in a toner binder resin. CONSTITUTION:A toner binder resin contains one of sulfanilamide derivs. represented by formula I in which R is H or one of formulae II-V. Such sulfanilamide deriv. includes sulfamine, sulfisomidine, sulfadimethoxine, sulfisoxazole, and sulfamethoxazole. As the toner binder resin, most of resins can be used, and, e.g., polystyrene, polyester, styrene-acrylic copolymer, are enumerated. Said sulfanilamide deriv. is used in an amt. of 0.5-10wt% of the resin. |
