PURPOSE:To display the degree of thermal conduction of each part of an object by the difference in color, by measuring the time until the peak of the temperature signal of the object is detected, and converting the time into a color signal. CONSTITUTION:An optical system 1 is provided with an X-direction scanning mirror 2, a Y-direction scanning mirror 3 and an infrared detector 4. An object 5 is scanned by the scanning mirrors 2 and 3, which are controlled by pulse signals, respectively, in two dimensions. The infrared rays from the object 5 based on said scanning are detected by the infrared-ray detector 4. The detected signal is supplied to a peak detecting circuit 7, which detects the peak of the temperature signal from the detector 4, through an amplifier 6. The output of the detecting circuit 7 is supplied to a time measuring circuit 8, and the time is measured. The measured time is converted into a color signal by a color conversion circuit 20. Then the color signal is displayed on a color CRT21. Thus the degree of the thermal conductivity of each part of the object can be displayed by the difference in color. |
